Kitale is in the
western part of Kenya
and is the main area for growing maize (corn)
and many kinds of beans. |
|
 |
I was asked to conduct a three
day
conference for pastors and ministry leaders.
The church was in the middle of maize fields.
These
were some of the leaders who traveled
from different parts of Kenya to
attend. |

When I began to teach, I noticed that almost
no one had Bibles. After the first session,
I went into town and purchased 50 Swahili Bibles
to give away. The pastors were VERY grateful! |

Perhaps the best way to help evangelize
other countries is to train and support
the local
people who already have
the call and the heart to lead others to
Christ. |

My host family while in Kitale in front
of the
home where I stayed.
Kneeling are some of the leaders of
IGEM
(International Gospel
Equipping Ministries).
I am praying hard
about how to
best support this group. |
 |
I have been asked to be the
International Coordinator for IGEM.
They have great potential but it's not yet clear
what my role ought to be.
As a minimum, I will support them with as much
literature as possible.
